Les' medium of choice is acrylic, drawing and mixed media. Les has a solid foundation in visual arts and art history from McMaster University, Sheridan College and Max the Mutt Animation. Les' work is informed by animation, eco-art, acrylic painting, film and comparative literature. After completing a Bachelors and Masters degree in Environmental Studies from York University, he worked in the environmental, facilitation and education fields and continued to evolve as a visual artist by exploring art history, and various fine art mediums, techniques and approaches. Les has exhibited his artworks throughout Ontario and has commissioned artwork for various clients throughout Ontario. His current work focuses on themes of urban streetscapes, human decay/urban blight and human interactions within the City.
